Nusa Dua, Bali, Geger Beach Cleanup

First beach cleanup sponsored by Surfy. We hired 30 local people to pick up ocean bound plastic off Geger Beach. We worked for 3 hours collecting various kinds of harmful ocean waste.

Surfy hired local professional photographer to document our way to help clean the oceans and beaches. And then we took the materials that we took from the beaches to Jimbaran recycling center. We sorted, washed, and weighed the recyclables to know our impact in helping the Nusa Dua Beach area. We collected 300 kg of materials and a 150 kg of that was recyclable.
