Mengiat Beach Clean Up

We started at 6.30 am When the weather was beautiful and the sun was rising. The surfy team comprising of 26 local Balinese, walked, raked and collected the ocean waste. We removed the ocean bound plastic and other non organic recyclables/refuse that’s ruining the whole natural beauty of the earth around us.

Mengiat Beach is one of the most popular beach in Nusa Dua area, Bali. Therefore, the cleanliness of the beach must be maintained.

We divide people into 2 teams, each team clears the opposite side of the beach.

Plastic waste that has been collected, then put into a bag and loaded into truck to be sent to sorting facility.

We hope this activity can attract more people and tourists to care about the cleanliness of the beach.
